Googology Wiki

I posted at the talk page of policy a proposal on notability of analyses. More precisely, I would like to ask comunity members to decide what notations are allowed to be used in analyses in the main space.

The reason why I prosed it is because, there are several pages including analyses by currently uncommon notations, which are not helpful for readers to understand.

  1. The page of Graham's number includes analysis by Revised Pehan Notation, which was created just a week ago.
  2. The page of Googol includes analysis by PlantStar's Debut Notation, which has not been fully defined. (I note that it has been defined up to the level appearing in the analysis.)
  3. The page of Googol includes analysis by Pound-Star Notation, but one of sections in its article is poorly written and the last effective update of the article was two years ago.

I personally think that those notations themselves are notable, but we should respect the purpose to help readers to understand numbers.

Please give me opinions at the talk page of the policy, because the proposal might drastically change the rule of this wiki, unlike other recent changes which just clarify common senses.
