With Hexirp blocking Plain'N'Simple, the situation seems to have finally resolved itself. Unfortunately, the events that transpired have left a bad taste in all of our mouths. I'd like to leave some final thoughts for the users who were involved in the events in one way or another:
P-bot - I sincerely believe that you have done nothing wrong. Most of us greatly appreciate your insight and advice. I have always admired your work, and I have a lot of respect for you, especially after our conversations on the LNGN. I hope that nothing like this ever happens again, because you not being here could spell disaster for the community at large.
Plain'N'Simple - Just to be clear, I don't wish for any harassment to come your way. Your transgressions do not give the green light for others to break the rules at your expense. It's up to the admins to determine the proper actions to take. That said, to be extremely blunt, you deserved what you got in the end.
C7X - In my last blog post, I dropped the ether on you for being complicit in Plain's transgressions against P-bot. However, P-bot brought up some very good points in the comments of that post, noting that you're a very neutral admin, that you likely didn't understand the guidelines very well, and that you attempted to act in good faith. With that in mind, I now believe that you aren't at fault for these events. I apologize for being as harsh as I was towards you.
ARsygo - It's unfortunate that the straws that broke the camel's back were the warnings that P-bot issued on your recommendation. You did nothing wrong, and I'm grateful for your attempts to help stop the harassment. I'm also grateful that you promoted Hexirp to administrator, because I don't know if this situation would've been resolved as swiftly as it was otherwise.
Hexirp - From the bottom of my heart, thank you. If it wasn't for your hard work, I fear that this situation would've ended badly.
BlankEntity - I know that you likely won't read this, but if you do, I just want to say that I feel extremely bad for you. I don't blame you for leaving, because you weren't the only one who was distressed by the blocking of P-bot.
