Tredecation is the 13th hyperoperation. It is equal to \(a \uparrow^{11} b\) in Knuth's up-arrow notation[1]

The n tredecated to m is n doedecated to n doedecated to ... doedecated to n (m n's).

Tredecation can be written in array notation as \(\{a,b,11\}\), in chained arrow notation as \(a \rightarrow b \rightarrow 11\) and in Hyper-E notation as E(a)1#1#1#1#1#1#1#1#1#1#1#1#b.

Tredecational growth rate is equivalent to \(f_{12}(n)\) in the fast-growing hierarchy.
