- Not to be confused with sescentillion.
A sexcentillion is equal to \(10^{321}\) in the short scale and \(10^{636}\) in the long scale by Conway and Guy's naming system[1][2][3][4] as it is the 106th -illion number.
In the long scale, \(10^{321}\) is called tresquinquagintilliard.
Approximations[]
For the short scale:
Notation | Lower bound | Upper bound |
---|---|---|
Scientific notation | \(1\times10^{321}\) | |
Arrow notation | \(10\uparrow 321\) | |
Taro's multivariable Ackermann function | A(3,1063) | A(3,1064) |
BEAF | {10,321} | |
Hyper-E notation | E321 | |
Fast-growing hierarchy | \(f_2(1056)\) | \(f_2(1057)\) |
Hardy hierarchy | \(H_{\omega^2}(1056)\) | \(H_{\omega^2}(1057)\) |
For the long scale:
Notation | Lower bound | Upper bound |
---|---|---|
Scientific notation | \(1\times10^{636}\) | |
Arrow notation | \(10\uparrow 636\) | |
Taro's multivariable Ackermann function | A(3,2109) | A(3,2110) |
BEAF | {10,636} | |
Hyper-E notation | E636 | |
Fast-growing hierarchy | \(f_2(2101)\) | \(f_2(2102)\) |
Hardy hierarchy | \(H_{\omega^2}(2101)\) | \(H_{\omega^2}(2102)\) |
