- Not to be confused with Quingentillion.
A quincentillion is equal to \(10^{318}\) in the short scale and \(10^{630}\) in the long scale by Conway and Guy's naming system[1][2][3][4] as it is the 105th -illion number.
In the long scale, \(10^{318}\) is called tresquinquagintillion.
Approximations[]
For the short scale:
Notation | Lower bound | Upper bound |
---|---|---|
Scientific notation | \(1\times10^{318}\) | |
Arrow notation | \(10\uparrow 318\) | |
Taro's multivariable Ackermann function | A(3,1053) | A(3,1054) |
BEAF | {10,318} | |
Hyper-E notation | E318 | |
Fast-growing hierarchy | \(f_2(1046)\) | \(f_2(1047)\) |
Hardy hierarchy | \(H_{\omega^2}(1046)\) | \(H_{\omega^2}(1047)\) |
For the long scale:
Notation | Lower bound | Upper bound |
---|---|---|
Scientific notation | \(1\times10^{630}\) | |
Arrow notation | \(10\uparrow 630\) | |
Taro's multivariable Ackermann function | A(3,2089) | A(3,2090) |
BEAF | {10,630} | |
Hyper-E notation | E630 | |
Fast-growing hierarchy | \(f_2(2081)\) | \(f_2(2082)\) |
Hardy hierarchy | \(H_{\omega^2}(2081)\) | \(H_{\omega^2}(2082)\) |
