PlantStar's Debut Notation is a notation created by User:PlantStarAlpineer0, which is currently ill-defined and in development.[1] It is based off of the number 48.

Basic Bracket Notation

The general rules for basic bracket notation are as follows:[2]

  • [n] = 48n
  • [1,n] = [48n]
  • [n+1,1] = [n,48]

This notation is obviously ill-defined because there is no rule applicable to [2,2].

Multiple brackets

  • [1][n]@ = [1,1,1,1,...(n "1"s)...,1,1,1,1]@
  • [n][k]@ = [n-1][1,1,1,1,...(k "1"s)...,1,1,1,1]@

where @ is any string of brackets. Since Basic Bracket Notation is ill-defined, this notation is also ill-defined.

Examples

  • [2] = 482 = 2,304
  • [10] = 4810 = 64,925,062,108,545,024
  • [1, 1] = [481] = [48] = 4848 ≈ 1080.7
  • [1, 2] = [482] = [2,304] = 482,304 ≈ 103,873.58
  • [1, 10] = [4810] = [64,925,062,108,545,024] = 4864,925,062,108,545,024 ≈ 10109,154,691,756,057,088
  • [1, n] = [48n] = 48(48n)
  • [2, 1] = [1, 48] = [[48]] ≈ [1080.70] ≈ \(48^{10^{80.70}}\) ≈ \(10^{10^{80.93}}\)
