  • June 8, 2023: Googology Wiki underwent several technical issues related to the assets, so Fandom wikis wouldn't render properly for a brief period, including, but not limited to this wiki and Community Central. The issues were subsequently fixed in the later days. Sorry for an another mess!
  • May 11, 2023: We finally reached our 16,000-th article!
  • April 20, 2023: MediaWiki was upgraded to 1.39.
  • March 18, 2023: Yet another big milestone... We finally reached our 15,000th article!
  • February 28, 2023: Fandom announced that Googology Wiki would be migrated to MediaWiki 1.39 by April 20.
  • February 10, 2023: We reached the 14,000-th article!
  • January 14 – 20, 2023: We held the second admin election, and relieved C7X's admin and bureaucrat career!
  • January 12, 2023: We opened the second admin election, and is set to hold by January 14, 2023.
  • January 1, 2023: Happy New Year, 2023!

  • December 5, 2022: Googology Wiki turned 14 years old!
  • November 18, 2022: SI prefixes for 1027 and 1030 are officially adopted as "ronna-" and "quetta-" respectively, as well as their small counterparts "ronto-" (10−27) and "quecto-" (10−30) as a resolution at CGPM, the first time since 1991.
  • November 17, 2022: We reached the 13,000-th article!
  • October 19, 2022: We reached the 12,500-th article! That's 100,000/8!
  • September 8, 2022: We reached the 12,000-th article!
  • December 5, 2021: Googology Wiki turned 13 years old!
  • November 22, 2021: Googology Wiki's URL was migrated to the standard "fandom.com" domain, as announced here. Old URL (wikia.org, and older wikia.com) is redirected to the new URL.
  • November 13, 2021: Now MathJax works on mobile device.
  • November 7, 2021: Definition of a large number, True EB Sequence Number, is on sale as a digital art of NFT (non-fungible token). It might be the first googologism on NFT.
  • August 17, 2021: We are using MathJax v3 now. Improved speed is expected.
  • August 16, 2021: The design was changed to FandomDesktop by Fandom.
  • August 13, 2021: We confirmed that classic google sites will not be available from 1 September 2021. It hosts googology sites by Saibian, Cookiefonster and Username5243 (later a dead link) for example. The owners can migrate to new google sites. If you are not the owners of said sites, you can help by going to here and save a page of the site.
  • June 19, 2021: Polish Googology Wiki is relaunched with the name Googologia Wiki.
  • May 15 – 25, 2021: We held the first admin election, and ARsygo became the new admin!
  • March 8, 2021: We reached the 11,000-th article!
  • January 12, 2021: A change was made to the logo.
  • December 5, 2020: Googology Wiki turned 12 years old!
  • October 7, 2020: Googology Wiki had switched to UCP, and MathJax was broken again.

  • December 5, 2018: It was 10 years since Googology Wiki was created. We came a long way!
  • October 30, 2018: Polish Googology Wiki was established.
  • July 19, 2018: Malay Googology Wiki was established.
  • June 14, 2018: This wiki switched to HTTPS, however MathJax had been tried to load itself through HTTP, so many formulas would not render at that time. This was fixed, and took some time to be approved. Sorry about the mess again!
  • December 9, 2017: It was the 9th Anniversary of Sbiis Saibian's site!
  • December 5, 2017: Googology Wiki celebrated 9 years!

  • January 4, 2013: The community decided to decrease the lower bound on number articles from 100 to 0. We created articles for the numbers from 0 to 99!
  • December 9, 2012: One to Infinity, the e-book brainchild of Sbiis Saibian celebrated its fourth birthday!
  • December 8, 2012: Googology Wiki turned four years old! Many thanks to all the contributors who have brought this wiki to what it is today.
